Motet aux Saints Apôtres Pierre et Jean

This short piece for men’s choir is the result of putting to music the first verse of the third chapter of the Acts of the Apostles. In the liturgy, this verse serves as a refrain in the first vesper of the feast for the apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul, usually celebrated on 29 June.

The work was commissioned by the Choral Society of Villars-sur-Glâne, Switzerland, to mark its 100^th anniversary and was performed on 30 June 2019 under the direction of Guy Lattion.
